To anyone that has a mother or father that suffer from dimentia I pray for you and your loved ones. Please don’t put your parents in a nursing home it will accelerate their dimentia and won’t live every long. People with dimentia need to be in their home where they are comfortable around loved ones. I work full time and care for my mother full time. My mother is 84 years old and she suffers from dimentia. She has been coming to work with me everyday for the past 4 years. My jobs is mainly driving my car on the road to job sites to measure stone benchtops for kitchens, My mother waits in the car for about 5 minutes while I’m inside doing my measurements. I leave the car on for her with the air condition on or heater depending on the weather. After work we come home I shower her feed her and do all the housework including laundry. I do all this on my own without any help. I have 6 older brothers that live very close by and none of them does anything for their mother.. I was engaged to a woman I was dating for 10 years and I called everything off and broke up with her so I can look after my mother. She wouldn’t accept my mother living with us so I made the easy decision to break up with her.. There is nothing in this world more Important than a mother. A mother’s love for her child is eternal. I’m not taking anything away from all fathers because they are just as important but a mother is just a bit more special. As a parent there comes a time you jusy want your child to survive and not die due malnutrition and you will cave in and give them anything they could eat.
